CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS

SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

TUESDAY, December 2, 1997, AT 7 P.M.

This Special Council Meeting was called to vote on the nomination of Joyce Zeller for Council Member for Ward #3 Position #1. The Mayor, Barbara A. O’Harris called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. in the Courtroom.

PRESENT:

Mayor OHarris, and Alderwomen Watson & Seratt and Aldermen Jeffrey, Freeland, and Christman.

ALSO PRESENT: Kim Dickens, Kirby Murray, Mr. Keever, Ron Latimer, James

DeVito, Alan Long, Don Matt, Nikki Salazar, Sam Dunham, Jay Miner, and

Clerk Lee.

Everyone of the Council seemed to think that Joyce Zeller would be a good counciilperson. There was some discussion to that end.

Mr. Miner informed the Mayor and the Council that by law, the vote would have to be held during a regularly scheduled Council Meeting.

The Council could not vote so the motion was made and seconded to

adjourn. All were in favor, 5/0/0. The meeting was adjourned at 7:07 p.m.
