SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

NOVEMBER 30, 2000

David Jeffrey acted as Mayor Pro Tem, because of the absence of Mayor Satori.

Mayor Pro Tem Jeffrey called the Special City Council to order at 2:25 p.m.

The reason for the Special Meeting was to consider the fares, routes and hours of operation for the Transit Department for the year 2001.

The roll was called and all Council Members were present. Also present were Mary Jean Sell, Jerry Ballinger, Robert Clark, David Rueter, Kim Dickens, and Clerk Mary Ann Lee.

Alderman Sumpter made the motion to set the fares at $3.50 for an all day pass, $5.00 for the monthly citizen pass; leave the routes as they were in 2000; and set the hours of operation as follows: from April 1, 2001 to May 25, 2001, seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; May 26, 2001 to September 3,2001, Sunday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; September 4, 2001 through Octotber 31, 2001, Sunday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and November 1 through December 16, 2001, weekends only, Saturdays and Sundays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Alderman Taylor seconded. The unanimous vote was 6/0/0.

The motion was made and seconded to adjourn. All were in favor, 6/0/0.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:28 p.m.
