SPECIAL MEETING THURSDAY NOV. 17, 2005

Mayor Kathy Harrison called for two special council meetings Thursday, Nov. 17, in the jury room of the Western District Carroll County Courthouse.

The purpose of the meeting at 5:45 p.m. was to discuss creating a budget line item for the Latimer lawsuit settlement check.

The purpose of the second meeting at 5:55 p.m. was to discuss moving money to cover the Judges Retirement Fund.

PRESENT: Mayor Kathy Harrison, Alderman Beverly Blankenship, Lori Weaver, City Attorney Tim Weaver and City Clerk-Treasurer Mary Jean Sell. Aldermen Robert “Butch” Berry, Penny Carroll, Terry McClung and Rick Rojek were absent.

Since a quorum was not present for either meeting, Mayor Harrison adjourned the meetings at 5:55 p.m.
