AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX ON ALL REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS, THAT:

 

SECTION 1. LEVY ON PERSONAL PROPERTY

A tax of 4.4 mills on the dollars is hereby levied on all personal property situated within the city limits of the City of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, for the following purposes:

            1. General Fund                                                .0038

            2. Fireman’s Relief & Pension Fund                  .0006

 

SECTION 2. LEVY ON REAL PROPERTY

            A tax of 4.4 mills on the dollar is hereby levied on all real property situated within the corporate limits of the City of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, for the following purposes:

                        1. General Fund                                                .0038

                        2. Fireman’s Relief & Pension Fund                  .0006

 

SECTION 3. COLLECTIONS

            The 4.4 mills above levied on the personal property are to be collected at the regular collection of taxes by the Collector of Carroll County, Arkansas, at the same time and in the same manner that State and County taxes are collected in the year 2006.

 

            The 4.4 mills above levied on the real property are to be collected at the regular collection of taxes by the Collector of Carroll County, Arkansas, at the same time and in the same manner that State and County taxes are collected in the year 2006.
