An Ordinance Amending
Section 2.36.09, regarding ambulance fees and related charges, of the Municipal
Code of the City of Eureka Springs, Arkansas
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, has determined that Section 2.36.09 of the Municipal Code should be amended in order to regulate efficiently the charges for ambulance and related services,
Now, therefore be it ordained by the City Council of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, that:
Section 2.36.09 shall be amended to read:
Sec. 2.36.09. Ambulance and related services.
The
Fire Department Emergency Medical Service is authorized to assess the following
charges for ambulance and related services in the providing of emergency
medical services to members of the public requesting or in need of such
services:

Eureka Springs EMS accounts that are paid in full within 30 days of initial statement
date shall be discounted 10% of amount due.
That all ordinances or resolutions, and parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
That each of the provisions of this ordinance are severable and the decision of any court having jurisdiction as to the validity of any provision shall not effect the remaining provisions
