AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.24.04 OF THE EUREKA SPRINGS MUNICIPAL CODE SETTING THE SALARY OF THE MAYOR

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, has made a comprehensive study and review of Section 2.24.04 of the Eureka Springs Municipal Code and the duties of the Mayor,

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS, THAT:

Section 1. Section 2.24.04 of the Eureka Springs Municipal Code shall be amended to read “Effective January 1, 2007, the City of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, shall pay the person holding the office of Mayor an annual salary of $18,000.00.”

Section 2. Repeal Clause: All Ordinances, Resolutions, and parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
