ORDINANCE 2057

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PARKING REGULATION OF MOUNTAIN STREET

WHEREAS the City Council of Eureka Springs, AR, has been advised of the changes needed regarding parking on Mountain Street in Eureka Springs; and,

WHEREAS the Police Chief and Fire Chief of the City of Eureka Springs, AR, have been consulted and concur

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS, THAT:

Section 1. That the Eureka Springs Municipal Code Chapter 8.44.16 is hereby amended to create Section S(a) A no parking zone on south side of Mountain Street between the intersection of White Street with Mountain Street and the intersection of Washington Street with Mountain Street.

Section 2. That the Eureka Springs Public Works Department is hereby directed to appropriately mark the no parking zone as established above.

Section 3. That provision of this ordinance are hereby declared to be separable and if any provision shall for any reason be held illegal or invalid, such holding shall not effect the validity of the remainder of this ordinance.

Section 4. That all ordinances and resolutions or parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
