ORDINANCE NO. 2067

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.28.02(E) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS, AND SETTING THE SALARY FOR THE OFFICE OF EUREKA SPRINGS CITY CLERK/TREASURER

WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Eureka Springs, AR, finds it necessary to review the salary for the Office of the City Clerk/Treasurer; and

WHEREAS, Ordinance 1976, approved by the City Council Jan. 10, 2005, set the annual salary for the Office of the City Clerk/Treasurer at $28,000;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Eureka Springs, Arkansas:

Section 1. That Chapter 2.28.02 (E) of the Municipal Code be repealed; and

Section 2. That Chapter 2.28.02 (E) shall read: The annual salary for the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer shall be Twenty-Eight Thousand, Eight Hundred and Forty Dollars ($28,840) effective Feb. 15, 2008.
