RESOLUTION 550

REGARDING UPHOLDING AND ENFORCEMENT OF MUNICIPAL CODE

WHEREAS, the Administrative Body of the City of Eureka Springs, Ark., has been found lacking in enforcement of Eureka Springs Municipal Codes: and

WHEREAS, the City Council of Eureka Springs believes that this lack of enforcement causes the undermining of our taxi franchise as well as ill will amongst its citizenry: and

WHEREAS, the City Council has a legal obligation to uphold our laws; either through the City of Eureka Springs Administrative Branch or higher

NOW, THEREFORE it be ordained that:

The City Council of Eureka Springs orders, by majority vote, the Administrative Branch, including The Office of the Mayor, The Eureka Springs Police Department, and City Attorney to uphold and enforce all laws pertaining to transportation and business licensing as set forth in the Eureka Springs Municipal Code.
