Mary Jean Sell - City Clerk
The City Clerk is an elected official, term concurrent with the Mayor's (four years). The City Clerk prepares city council meetings agendas, compiles the minutes of council, planning and historic district meetings and in addition she is the staff person for the Planning Commission/Board of Zoning Adjustment and assist staff work for the Historic District Commission.

Mary Jean Sell is into her second four-year term as the elected city clerk-treasurer. She was certified as a municipal clerk by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks in November of 2007.
She is a member of the Arkansas City Clerks Recorder Treasurer Association. (ACCRTA)
She has attended the Municipal Clerks Institute Certification and Academy programs through the school of continuing Education & Academic Outreach at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville the past six years and has taught several classes.
