RESOLUTION NO. 575

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK/TREASURER OF THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS, TO EXECUTE THAT CERTAIN INSTRUMENT CONSISTING OF THREE (3)
TYPEWRITTEN SHEETS AND DENOMINATED AS “LEASE AGREEMENT” BY AND BETWEEN THE COUNTY JUDGE OF CARROLL COUNTY, ARKANSAS, AS “LESSOR”, AND THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS, AS “LESSEE”

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS:

The Mayor and Clerk/Treasurer of the city of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, are hereby authorized to execute that certain instrument consisting of three (3) typewritten sheets and denominated as “Lease Agreement” by and between the County Judge of Carroll County, Arkansas, as “LESSOR”, and the city of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, as “LESSEE”, whereby said City agrees to lease two thousand sixty two (2,062) square feet of floor space for office purposes on the lowest level of the Western District Carroll County Courthouse, located at 44 South Main Street in the City of Eureka Springs, Arkansas for an initial term of three (3) years, commencing on January 1, 2011 and subject to a renewal annually, no later than January 15th of that year and, thereafter as the parties may agree, a copy of said instrument being attached hereto.
PASSED AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS, ON THE 3RD DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2011.
