RESOLUTION No. 588


A RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO THE CITY WATER AND SEWER SERVICES
BEYOND CORPORATE CITY LIMITS

WHEREAS, the City Council of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, having concerns regarding providing water and sewer services within the current corporate limits of the City of Eureka Springs; and

WHEREAS, extending City water and sewer services further beyond current corporate limits would further impair the City’s ability to provide services to its citizens;

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS, THAT

The City Council of Eureka Springs does not support any action to further extend City
water and sewer services outside the City corporate limits and directs the City Public
Works Department to not expend any funds to further extend water and sewer services
beyond City corporate limits.
