RESOLUTION  No. 595

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS, DECLARING A MORATORIUM ON APPROVAL OF ANY DIGITAL/ELECTRONIC SIGNS AS IT PERTAINS TO TITLE 7, SIGNS OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, in conjunction with the Planning Commission, is in the process of correcting administrative errors in Title 7, Signs,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS:


Section 1.  That a moratorium on the approval of any digital/electronic signs as it pertains to Title 7 of the Eureka Springs Municipal Code is hereby declared to be effective upon the reading and passage of this resolution until May 22, 2012.

Section 2.  The Building Official will be notified in writing by the office of the Mayor, City of Eureka Springs, Arkansas if the cancellation of this moratorium occurs prior to the above referenced date.
